California 195 is a connecting route from California 86S east to California 111 in Mecca near the north end of the Salton Sea in Riverside County. Some remnant signage of California 195 remains in place between California 86 and California 86S, even though this segment was decommissioned. Northeast of Mecca, another old section of California 195 is still intact but is now a Riverside County highway (it is former U.S. 60-70).

California 195 used to connect California 86 with California 111 and Interstate 10 near the northern shore of the Salton Sea. The route was decommissioned in stages, and it was completely eliminated with the completion of the California 86-S expressway.
