California 27 is a north-south route connecting Malibu (junction California 1/Pacific Coast Highway) with Los Angeles via Topanga Canyon and the Santa Monica Mountains. In Los Angeles, after crossing U.S. 101/Ventura Freeway, California 27/Topanga Canyon Road serves the Canoga Park and Chatsworth communities of the San Fernando Valley.
